HOW RESTORE™ WORKS

Restore is designed to sterilize and inactivate mold, fungi, viruses and other microorganisms in the airstream and on internal surfaces of HVAC air handlers. It’s installed in the ductwork of the central air system and the technology is based on a process called photocatalytic oxidation. Germicidal UV-C light reacts with titanium dioxideinfused carbon cells to neutralize contaminants. In other words, these cells attract and hold odors and microbes which are then eliminated by exposure to UV light. The only thing left behind is harmless water vapor and CO2. This process also keeps the carbon cells clean so the system is virtually maintenance-free. The final result is safer, cleaner, odor-free air.

PROVEN SAFE AND EFFECTIVE

In multiple laboratory tests, Restore has proven to be safe and effective. It has been validated as ozone-free by UL Labs, certified by CARB & ETL, and has won the prestigious AHR Innovation Award for indoor air quality. Test results from Airmid Healthgroup, an accredited IAQ testing laboratory, have proven the effectiveness of this technology. The tests verified that the air purifier has the capability to both sterilize microorganisms and reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Restore titanium-dioxide infused activated carbon cells were shown to be “capable of reducing high concentrations” of VOCs commonly found in homes and commercial buildings, including hospitals, hotels, offices and schools. Here are inactivation results from testing performed on the ASHRAE Standard 52.2 test duct system, which provides a method of measuring the removal efficiency of particle filters:

    Q: How long will it take my office furniture to dry?

    A: Drying time depends on the specific type of upholstery you have, which determines the cleaning process we use. Typical drying times range from 6 to 12 hours.

    Q: How long do i have to stay off the floor after sealant has been applied to tile and grout?

    A: We recommend you wait 30 minutes before walking on the floor, and it will take 24 hours to cure completely. We also suggest you avoid any type of liquid coming into contact with the floor during that time period.

    Q: How do you clean hardwood floors?

    A: Our process includes an initial vacuuming to remove loose dirt and debris followed by an auto-scrubbing with an alkaline cleaner. Then, we continue scrubbing with a neutral cleaner to return the floor to its original sheen. We hand scrub edges and stairs.
